CFCE is devoted to the investigation of the molecular mechanisms altered in cancer. To that aim, CFCE implements, optimizes and develops new technology and analytical methods to advance in the understanding of the genetic-epigenetic interplay in cancer.
Our technical capabilities include methods for sample preparation (cell fixation, chromatin preparation from frozen tissues and nuclei isolation), state-of-the-art epigenetic methods to investigate samples in bulk (ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, CUT&TAG and Hi-ChIP), or at a single-cell resolution (10X Genomics technology including scATAC-seq, scRNA-seq, multiome assay). We have developed original methods for chromatin interrogation of FFPE clinical tissue (FiT-seq and FiTAc-seq). In addition, CFCE computational lab have developed pipelines for the comprehensive analysis of the genome-wide results, covering all analytical aspects from quality evaluation, mapping to data processing and supervised analysis.
